I have recently been hired by an insurance company…part time….per your information. However, they only pay $9 per inspection, but I am going to see how it goes…I figured it would be a good job to do once I’m retired along with photography - being my own boss and making my own hours…finally.

Hi folks,

I found a number of Field Service companies here in Australia simply by doing a Google Search for “Field Service” on my local country’s Google. Then I called the top 10 people on the list and asked them if they hired photographers for field service work. If they didn’t, I asked them for the names of companies that did. This industry is fairly small and a lot of the players know each other.

I am also having problems finding anything on the internet related to this type of activity in my country - UK.

Any suggestions would be welcome, although I realise you can’t be expected to have knowledge of markets outside your own, but maybe one of your readers will?

Thank you so much for all your advice and excellent information on how to use something you like such as photography to make money.

But unfortunately, I have encountered the same problem as Bruce Heal from Canada, would it be possible to obtain a list with European Service Companies, I am sure that this would considerable help me and other people around Europe.

Do you know where I can get a list of Canadian service companies. This ideas interestes me but I have not been able to find a list similar to the links that you give for US companis.
